Sea Lark

Welcome to the Sea Lark website. Sea Lark is the name Tom and Beth Hugo gave to their beloved cottage on Anna Maria Island, Florida.

According to what Tom and Beth said, it was brought over on a barge from Tampa. It isn’t in the same location and looked far different than it does today.

	Tom Hugo wrote on back “Summer of 1953.”

		Notice it says “Hugo House” on Snapper. This shows where the house was moved after a 1920’s hurricane. Mom writes, “This is plat of our house. All the platted land below “Snapper” Street disappeared in a Hurricane. Snapper became Gulf Drive.”
